In the small town of Emergency, Alaska, lives a strange little one-eyed cat named Ogo and his humans, Sesi and Autumn. A former animal actor, Ogo left Hollywood seeking the quiet life of a small town only to find that in Emergency, nothing is ever routine.
Indeed, Emergency seems to have one foot firmly planted in the absurd, which Sesi blames on the fact that it is a mining town hastily built a few hundred years ago with deep, abandoned, but still-open tunnels that lead to... who knows what? Perhaps some of the bizarre happenings in Emergency are due to things percolating upward from those tunnels and leaking out into the world.
Between run-ins with eccentric morticians, the baby New Year, and the occasional vampire, there is never a dull moment for Ogo. His overactive imagination, bad temper, and zest for mayhem don't help him maintain a low profile, and sometimes it's all Sesi can do just to keep Ogo alive and out of trouble.
"KISKALOO: Volumes 1 and 2" is a collection of comics written and drawn by Chris Sanders, a director, writer, and story artist who has worked with Walt Disney Pictures and DreamWorks Animation on such films as "Lilo & Stitch," "How To Train Your Dragon," "Mulan," and "The Croods."
