What are your shipping methods? When will I receive my item(s)?

The Chris Sanders Online Store at ChrisSandersArt.com processes and mails out orders within 2-3 business days. (Absences lengthy enough to significantly delay order fulfillment (e.g., San Diego Comic-Con) will be announced ahead of time on Chris's Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/chrissandersart.) We ship all orders through USPS and offer tracking whenever possible. If we are able to combine multiple items into a single shipment, we will refund the difference in shipping cost via PayPal to the email address with which you paid for your order.

When shipping domestically with USPS Priority Mail®, items typically arrive at their destination within 1-3 business days from time of shipment. Orders shipped worldwide via USPS Priority Mail® International are usually delivered within 6-10 business days, but may take up to five weeks depending on your country's location. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making your purchase. We are unable to falsify customs documents (declaring merchandise as a "gift," misrepresenting a package's value, etc.), as this constitutes fraud.

If your country is not currently listed in our shipping database, please email us at shop@chrissandersart.com to have it added. Due to numerous incidents involving their local postal service, we regret that we can no longer risk shipping merchandise to Brazil.

 

What do I do if my item is damaged, incorrect, or winds up "returned to sender"?

Although each order is packed carefully, accidents do happen sometimes during shipping. In the event that your item arrives significantly damaged or defective, we ask that you email shop@chrissandersart.com within 48 hours of receiving your package to request a refund or replacement. This will be arranged as soon as the damaged item is returned -- in its original condition (that is, please don't damage it further) and packing materials -- to the store's mailing address:

Some items are produced in such limited quantities that a replacement is not possible. These cases will be handled on an individual basis.

Items mailed out in error will be replaced or refunded upon the store's receipt of the incorrect item in its original condition and packaging.

If your package is marked "returned to sender" due to a mistake in your mailing address on your part or a failure to pick it up from the post office, we'll be happy to send it out again as soon as you submit the cost of re-shipment (via PayPal) to shop@chrissandersart.com. If the error was on our end, however, re-shipment is on us!

 

What do you mean by "significantly damaged or defective"?

By "significantly damaged or defective," we mean:

  • completely folded/bent sketchbooks
  • torn or ripped pages
  • printing errors (e.g., missing or upside-down pages)

We DO NOT offer replacements or refunds for the following reasons:

  • slightly bent or scuffed book corners
  • small spots or marks on the cover or interior pages
  • ink smudges from the signature
  • you changed your mind about your order

ChrisSandersArt.com will not sell, trade, share, or otherwise redistribute personal information collected for the purpose of fulfilling orders. Your personal information will only be used to contact you about your order, to seek out site feedback, and to update you on the online store.
